For your consideration is this well made Taxco pin and pendant. I can't tell if the abstract birds are woodpeckers pecking on a center branch or love birds but they are very cute. The pin is made with the same overlay technique that the Hopi Indians are known for. It is marked Mexico Taxco 925 an a maker's mark of AMD. The eagle assay mark off to the side dates the piece from the mid 1940s to the late 1970s. It has a pin back and a loop to be worn as a pendant.
It measures 1 and 7/8 inches in diameter.
It is in great condition as shown with fully functioning hardware, The pin back has a slight bend.
