Antique Victorian 850 3 Leaf Clover Crescent Moon Brooch Pin. It's approx. 1" x 1" x 1/8", and it is marked 850 on the clasp. 850 is typically a platinum mark, but this looks like rose gold, so it is a mystery. Possibly silver with a gold wash?, but 850 is an unusual silver mark. It hasn't been tested due to the pandemic. The brooch weighs approx. 4 grams (on my scale that doesn't measure fractions of a gram). The amethyst are approx. 1/2" x 1/4". This was purchased from the same person as the Russian Imperial gold chain & locket also listed. It's in excellent overall antique condition with minor surface scratches, and needs a good cleaning. It can easily be worn as a pendant attached to a cord, if desired. It's a fine little treasure that symbolizes good fortune and celebrates the moon goddess in all of us. Amethyst is the birthstone for February.
I'm currently liquidating my personal jewelry and silver collection, and hope to add new items every week.
