Dating to c.1910, I am pleased to present this elegant Arts & Crafts turquoise and high-karat gold ring for the consideration of my Ruby Lane clientele!
Measuring 1/2" x 3/8" across the bezel, this hand-wrought ring boasts a beautiful rich natural turquoise cabochon with gold in the matrix, wrapped in buttery 18k yellow gold (marked 750; tested)! Suitable for wear by a lady or a gentleman, this ring is oh-so-unique; the gemstone is securely mounted with rubbed-over golden tabs in a very organic design!
I was immediately dawn to this ring for it's fluid design, and for the stunning gem it holds. This turquoise is the deepest shade of vibrant, rich blue, and contains thread-like inclusions of gold in the matrix! It was the perfect choice for this ring setting, which is sturdy and substantial, and I have never seen another like it!
This ring is a size 7, but the plainness of the rear of the shank would allow for easy re-sizing by a good bench jeweler for little cost. Weighing in at 6.69 grams, this stunning jewel has made it into the 21st-century in fresh-as-a-daisy condition; it was certainly treated with kid gloves over the past century plus! Best of all, this is a now-classic design which will always be in style!
Simply a delightful example of Edwardian-era Arts & Crafts jewelry, this ring will make a terrific right hand ring for a lady, or a one-of-a-kind pinky ring for a gentleman! If you collect the finest in antique rings, this beauty belongs on your hand and in your collection! It would also make a stellar gift for any lady or gentleman fond of Arts & Crafts jewelry, and will be shipped in a gift box. Do not miss this gold and blue stunner; I don;t epect to find another like it, up to 45-day layaway is available, and USPS Priority mail shipping is FREE!
