Surrounding this gemstone is a fabulous frame of of whiplash curves and golden beadwork which puts this Art Nouveau rose-gold beauty into a class of its own!
This ring is one of the few English Art Nouveau rings I have seen in 18k rose gold, and it looks oh-so-pretty on the hand! This ring is currently a size 4 3/4, but the plainness of the rear of the shank would allow for easy re-sizing by a good bench jeweler at little cost, and since the hallmarks are impressed to one side, sizing will not affect them! This ring weighs 2.47 grams.
Simply a one-of-a-kind example of Art Nouveau jewelry made from the finest materials available to the early 20th-century lapidary, this ring has made it through 110 years in all-original, intact condition! It is clear upon close inspection that this ring was completely hand-made; one can still see the tool marks inside the bezel! SO PRETTY!
