Painted Cameo of a Finely Dressed Lady signed by the Artist "Silver" with her hair delicately and highly styled wearing a feathered Cap with Flowers with Diamond Chip Centers. Organza Ruffles are around the Neckline of her dress and she is wearing a necklace around her Neck that is made with a raised Technique, and appears to have some more Chips in it. The piece is in a frame from the late 50's to early 60's and is a brushed 18K Gold-Tone marked on the back 1023. It has both a pin back and a Bale so it can be worn as a necklace. A most beautiful Estate piece of superior quality. The outfit makes her of probable Spanish Origin, possibly French, the technique reminiscent of a daguerreotype. The inner picture does appear to be much older than the frame, and I am still researching the signature for information.
