SALVADOR TERAN Textured Gold Tone Link Necklace and Bracelet with Lapis Blue Colored Accents is a major statement set. These items were made in the 1950s and 1960s for the famed Mexican Department store Marbel based in Mexico City. As well as being a master jeweler he was also an accomplished silversmith. His training with Spratling and Los Castillos can be seen in the detail of his work. The tile design of this necklace and bracelet are seen in many of his mosaic inspired designs. The Lapis colored stones add the the Mayan and Aztec influences of his work. The bracelet has the same detailing as the necklace, and makes a beautiful set to add to your collection. He started his own studio in 1952. It was called "La India Bonita"
