Victorian diamond pin with rubies and pearls. The pin has a floral motif and contains eighty seven diamonds. The diamonds range from old mine cut, Swiss cut and rose cut with a total weight of 3.00 carats. There are also twenty four Burmese rubies with a total weight of .62 carats. And, there are two freshwater pearls peg set on the pin. The pin is sterling silver with a gold overlay in sections. The diamonds are prong set, and the rubies are channel set. The pin has the original locking mechanism on the back. The condition is good. Circa 1901 - 1914. The pin measures 2 ½" in length.
