Circa 1910, top-opening locket with a leaf motif made of tiny natural seed pearls and four small diamonds. It measures approximately 1" in diameter. The hinge and catch are in good working order, there is a small dent in the back. The total weight of the diamonds is estimated to be about 0.05 cttw. There is hallmark on the bail that is fairly indiscernible but looks to be the eagle's head mark the French used to denote as 18k. The locket has tested as such.
The 18" chain is newer but complements the locket very well. It is a bar and link design and is solid 14k yellow gold. It has a secure tongue clasp with a safety. It is marked "14k" on the clasp.
The locket and chain are available for sale separately at $1,500 and $1,100 respectively. Please inquire if you would only like to purchase one or the other.
