This Antique Teddy Bear has the original Straw Stuffing, with hand stitched nose, mouth and paws in Black Thread. He also retains a "Squeaker" inside his Back, but it has lost its Squeak!! He retains his original "shoe button" eyes. He has a very slight hump to his back....probably produced at the turn of the Victorian Century...a good age for Bears!
He is approx. 14" tall, in "mohair", with movable head, arms and legs...in fairly good condition for his age of the early 1900's I believe...see photos for a bit of wear on the foot pads (small areas where you can see the straw stuffing) and the hip of his right leg...not too bad for an elderly Bear..
With a rather long nose and "pensive" face, he is hoping to find Love in a new home....perhaps for Xmas??
