This is a fine English Sterling Fish Server/Slice, in the Kings Pattern, and produced by J & H Lias, in London 1836.
A Fine and Heavy example, with a crisp "Shell" at the handle and blade. The size is approx. 12.25"long.
The Blade is pierce cutout in a Scroll work pattern and framed with engraved lines. It retains a nice even Patina, and it has never been over polished... the Hallmarks are crisp & clear!!
A nice example of an early English Fish Server for your collection and use.....
