This is a very unusual Chest of Drawers, circa 1880's-90's,American Eastlake Victorian period.. it has been totally refinished back to pristine condition. It has a long drawer at the top with 2 small drawers and one door underneath, 3 large drawers at the bottom. Note the beautifully carved Daisy and Leaf design on each drawer, especially prominent on the door., has gallery all round top, dovetailed drawers. The lock on the small drawer top left has missing lock, refer to photo, (did not replace it because we have no source for this kind of lock), all of the other drawers have working locks and we have a key for them.. This is a very beautiful and quality chest., It is worth mentioning that the black on the top surface are natural striations in the wood, not stains. It is on rollers but can removed if you don't prefer them. Measures 40" wide x 21" deep x 60" tall.
