This is a beautiful antique Georgian floral spray brooch in sterling silver and paste rhinestones. It is a larger piece suitable for securing a scarf, jacket, lapel, or shawl. A floral openwork and scroll design crafted in silver, it is set with dozens of rose-cut paste stones. It closes with an old C-type clasp and pin fastener. It is hallmarked but so small that it is unreadable unless you have a powerful microscope. It is a fine and magnificent piece of 18th-century early Georgian jewelry, a beautiful heirloom to enjoy for many years to come. Purchased in England. Excellent antique condition; slightly bent pin from use.
