This wonderful bracelet and ring set is one of the more colorful of those made in mid-century Mexico. The bracelet has lovely silver links with lots of details. Each link has a beautiful glass dichroic cabochon, which looks similar to an opal. The links are connected by long silver links, squared off so that they sit flat on the wrist. There do not appear to be any repairs done, but later in its life it had a safety catch attached. (You can cut if off if you do not like it.) Other than this, it is completely original. It is clearly marked “ArtPlat 925 Plata” on one part of the clasp and “Hecho en Mexico” on the other part. The box clasp hooks into one of the links and is nearly invisible. It closes tightly and holds firmly. The matching ring has a filigree bezel, is also very detailed, and has a dichroic glass cabochon. It has the same markings as the bracelet. The condition of both pieces is fine. We have not polished them and the patina has developed nicely into the quality that is so highly sought after by collectors of Mexican silver. The bracelet is 8 inches long, and 0.75 inches wide. It will fit up to a 7.75 inch wrist. The ring size with the guard is 6.75. You will enjoy the “wow factor” when wearing this beautiful bracelet and ring set.
