You will want to invite Nick and Nora Charles over for a drink to show off this wonderful Art Deco cocktail shaker. Perhaps you could entertain James Bond and make him a martini, shaken not stirred. Condition is critical when collecting early barware and this piece is right near the top for condition. It measures 12 ½ inches tall, is 4 ¼ inches in diameter at the base. It is a maximum of 7 inches across from the handle to the spout. On the underside it is marked “Krome Kraft Farber Bros” along with several touch marks. The handle, lid handle, and spout cover are all ox-blood colored bakelite. It is made from stainless steel that has a beautiful bright chrome-plated surface. The condition of the piece is extremely good. There are a few minor scratches in the chrome along with a very small amount of oxidation near the spout. The photos do this piece justice. One of the screws that anchors the handle is missing, but the screw opposite it is present so that the handle is still firmly attached. This cocktail shaker is one of the best, both in terms of styling and condition. You will have great difficulty trying to locate another one of this quality.
