Here is a fine set of 6 decorative auction bridge score pads still in their original box and dated 1926 when auction bridge was so popular. Back then people would set up an elegant table for having a group together for an evening of bridge. They would make sure to have a decorative set of score pads at hand along with any other necessary "essentials." This set of score pads was made by The Buzza Company of Minneapolis. Each pad is decorated with a stylized elegantly dressed lady done in Art Deco style with a number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 to identify each table. The pads are in remarkably good condition with only very minor aging . On each pad some of the tear-off score sheets are missing. There are still some score-sheets present, however, in each pad. The box they come in is also in excellent condition with some minor scuffing and soiling. The graphics on each card make this set well worth having because of their Art Deco motif. If you collect game memorabilia you will love these items and if you are into Art Deco they are the epitome of that style. The box measures 4 inches by 5 inches and is about 1 inch tall when closed. Although we would not recommend breaking this set up, the pads would be terrific display pieces if nicely framed.
