This Cased Glass Miniature Pitcher was made by Kanawha Glass Company of West Virginia in the 1960's-70. Cased Glass is a process of hand blown glass consisting of two or more fused layers of different colors of glass. In this case the inside layer is milk glass while the outside layer consists of an Amber Glass. It is wonder how the mild glass causes the amber to look yellow yet the top edge and bottom you can see that the glass is amber. Our pitcher has an applied "Pulled Back" handle that is also made of Amber Glass.
This piece is in excellent condition without even a bubble in the pitcher. The only bubble that is in the entire piece is under the top of the handle where it was applied to the pitcher.
This is a wonderful piece and would be an excellent addition to any miniature pitcher or cased glass collection.
Size: 4" high by 4" from spout to handle.
