At the risk of sounding like Goldie Locks in the home of the three bears. This bracelet is just right! Not to light...Not too heavy..it does have nice weight...this was always a thing in our stores, if a bracelet was too heavy it could not be adjusted and would have to exactly fit. This is an heirloom piece and you want it to adjust a little. But being well over 100 grams it is NOT light but just right.
Not only is the weight right but it is graced with 11 gorgeous Royston turquoise stones.
Wow what a beauty!
Made by Navajo artist Gilbert Tom who was a student of the famous Harry Morgan, now deceased. Tom lives in Gallup, New Mexico and now has his own students including Donovan Skeets another well known Navajo silversmith. Tom has been known for years for his traditional stamped silver and classic Navajo designs. As so many Native American tribes do, Tom is now passing down the knowledge he has developed to others so the tradition will live on even as Harry Morgan's work lives on through the knowledge he taught Gilbert.
