For years I have been against using dyed stones in my necklaces. However lately I noticed how one of the most famous Navajo Necklace artist Rita Singer who has carried on her husband's Tommy Singer necklace designs, uses a number of different dyed jasper stones. So I have dipped my toes into that water with these dyed Impression Jasper stones. We mixed these lovely stones, which look a lot like turquoise with natural White Howlite.
Howltie is natural white with gray or black matrices and is often mislabeled as white turquoise or buffalo turquoise but buffalo is calcite and Howlite is a borate mineral, which is mined in Canada and parts of the Northern U.S.
To finish this White Fox Creation we accent these pretty stones we used micro faceted Mystic Gray Quartz and southwestern stamped sterling beads.
