Back in 1975 in Colorado we had a Navajo friend who made by husband one of these stone heishi chokers. My husband has worn it for years and I have borrowed it more than a few times. The other day I was looking at it and thought, I should try to copy this piece, both my husband I have so enjoyed it.
So this in not an exact copy, but quite close.
For this piece we have used a number of stone. The center is turquoise nuggets separated by southwest stamped sterling beads. On the side, I used Crazy Agate, Chrysoprase,
Picasso Marble, and Chocolate and Ocean Jasper
