This exceptional bracelet was created by Navajo artist Eddie Chaco. Eddie started his carrier as a silversmith for the Ney Trading Post in Albuquerque. There is no better way to learn the trade then to work in one of these shops with many other artist, each one learning from the other.
This piece has to be some of his later work (maybe mid 90's) for there is layer upon layer of elements giving this bracelet 3 dimensional depth and outstanding beauty. Some of the elements include perfectly designed blossoms, fans, stamped buttons and oodles of double layered stamp work. Finally as the focal point Eddie used a beautiful piece of Charoite, a very rare purple to lavender stone with whiffs of white.
Truly an heirloom piece that will be cherished for generations.
