We have here a wonderful piece of Southwestern history with this old Harvey bracelet. Fred Harvey established trading post along the train and auto routes around the southwest. His main goal was to provide good food to the travelers along his routes but he also carried Indian jewelry in his trading post. The early pieces like this one were Indian made using turquoise and nickel silver. He later began to use coin silver and finally sterling. His pieces have a distinct look with wonderful stamp work and have become highly collectable.
Most of the nickel silver pieces date back to the late 20's-30's which is where I would place this piece.
The stamp work is deep and clear and the stone is well set.
