For years bolos were almost exclusively worn by men, but recently they have become very fashionable for woman. Both in magazines and on one particular young woman from our bank, woman ware them about half way down the leather cord instead of at the neck, as a man does. Both the size and weight of this piece will work from a man or woman.
This multi-stone bolo was made by Navajo artist Harry Spencer. The stones are a beautiful rich blue with splashes of black matrices. Each stone is separated with sterling droplets than encircled with a sterling rope. The piece is finished with a notched edge.
