This beautiful cast Turquoise and Spiny Oyster Naja is hallmarked on the back 925 and I believe it says Jay on the other tip, but I am not sure. . I have searched both Native American and Mexican marks and could not find the maker. I searched Mexican because 95% of the Native American jewelry is marked sterling and not 925 however I did find known Navajo, Zuni and Blackfoot Indian pieces that were marked by the artist and 925 so some do use that mark.
We purchased this beautiful naja and then strung it using turquoise from the Sonora mines in Mexico, which is highly sought after by Native Americans and turquoise enthusiast alike because of its absolutely beautiful blue color with contrasting black matrix. We have paired these lovely nuggets with natural spiny oyster chips and finished it with a sterling hook an eye.
Signed: Not quite sure what it says but I think Jay.
