We were able to acquire 4 of these hard to find "new old stock" from an individual who had a store out west. We purchased 2 turquoise and 2 multi stone sets. Each set is different and just outstanding.
This set was made by Navajo artist Valerie Yazzie for a Touch of Santa Fe. Touch of Santa Fe is a company founded by Calvin Begay where he commissions excellent artist to fashion his designs and the Yazzie family are known for their outstanding craftsmanship which has been handed down from generation to generation. Each link has been individually crafted out of sterling silver and linked together using a barrel and pin method so each piece pivots with ease making for a comfortable flowing fit. Each piece is the same size with the exception of the middle which is larger and created like pendent so it hangs lower then the other links. For this necklace Valerie used several shades of turquoise, orange and purple spiny oyster, coral and malachite. This outstanding design created by Calvin Begay and exquisite craftsmanship of Valerie Yazzie will make this part of your family heirloom collection. Specifics:
