These beautiful glasses were made in the Netherlands sometime between 1948 and 1953. The pattern was called Regal and was made for some time after 1953. However 4 of these glasses are watermarked on the bottom "Maastricht" which was the name of the crystal company until 1953 when it became known as Royal Leerdam. Two of these glasses may have been purchased after 1953 or the store in which they were purchased had both older and new inventory. At any rate all are the same beautiful pattern, 4 are marked and 2 are not.
The pattern features overlapping panels topped with touching "X" cuts creating am X and diamond pattern around the top. The cut stem is just beautiful diamond cuts at the top and cut panels down the sides of the stem.
The glasses have such a high shine to them it was hard to really see the beauty of the pattern in the pictures so I scanned a picture from our Crystal Identification Book so you can better see the pattern.
Each piece in this 6 piece set is in Excellent Condition and stands 4 3/4" high.
