Val Saint Lambert of Belgium has been making exquisite crystal stemware for over 200 years. Founded in 1826 they boast that "Crystal is a stroke of masterly magic that blends the four natural elements harmoniously together; earth (the sand), air (blowing the glass), fire (firing the glass) and water (cooling the glass).
Each Val Saint Lambert piece is mouth blown and hand cut and finished to perfection so you can experience the quality in each and every piece.
This Water/Large Wine set was made from 1950-1962 in a pattern called Esneux. The pattern features a vertical and horizontal checkerboard at the bottom with a row of spear cut topping the checkerboard pattern.
Each piece in this 5 piece set is in Excellent Condition without any nicks, chips or cracks.
Water/Wine glasses stand 6 1/4" high.
The signature VSL is scratched into the bottom of each glass.
We have a 6th glass but it has a small shave on the side of the rim. It is not sharp and could be used. If you would like us to include the sixth glass just let us know and we will include it at no charge.
