These sets were found in the homes of the elite during the turn of the century and through the 1930's. Normally found on a buffet along with a craft of Port or dessert wine, guest could help themselves to an array of elegant petit fours and bonbons along with a rich glass of dessert wine. Now some 80 to 90 years later, you too can offer your guest a sweet treat in style. Also for a more modern day use you can fill the large bowl with nuts and use the small bowls at a card or game table.
This set is in Excellent Condition and displays an elegant array of design elements including hobstar, fans, fine web cuts and crosshatching. The edge of each dish has been notched with half moon cuts.
