This lovely Boehm Bluebird and Dwarf Rose set was made in 1984 for the New York Bicentennial, representing both New York's state bird and state flower. The Bluebird is figurine #40256 and measures approximately 4.5" tall and 3.25" tip of beak to tip of tail. This piece is in Excellent Condition without any nicks, chips or cracks.
The lovely pink dwarf rose is remarkable beautiful with it's blush color and paper thin petals. However this piece has a tiny flake on one of the petals. It is smaller than the head of an ink pen and is smooth to the touch, thus a flake and not a chip. This rose is 6" long by 3" across. Another very large porcelain and crystal web-site that actually has written a price guide has this piece listed for $249.95 and unfortunately they did not have the Bluebird available so there was no price listed and I could not find one out on the web to compare prices with. We have listed the complete set for half the cost of the rose.
This set will be extremely well wrapped and double boxed for safe travel.
