This lovely Harvest Carnival pitcher was made by Indiana Glass in the early 1970's. The Harvest pattern has embossed grapes and leaves and it shows a lovely array of color that ranges from a dark amethyst to a blue and finally a hint of rose. The pitcher is on a small pedestal and stands about 10 ½" high and is 6" across the top and holds a generous 70 oz. The pitcher weighs almost 5 lbs. It is free of any nicks, chips or cracks, however it appears someone used a metal spoon often and caused a small amount of loss to the carnival color on the bottom of the inside.
