The Harvest carnival oval center bowl was introduced by Indiana Glass in 1971. The bottom of the bowl displays a verity of fruit and this bowl is the only piece out of the Harvest line that includes more than just grapes and leaves.
This is a large heavy bowl measuring 12" long by 8 ½" wide. The color shows a beautiful array of color ranging from an amethyst blue to a soft lavender/rose color.
There is a small roughness on the rim of two scallops. I believe it was part of the mold because the iridescence is still present. I took a close up of that area in picture # 2 but it is very hard to see but can be felt when closely examined.
