We acquired this lovely lamp approximately 1month ago and I have searched books and the internet trying to find something similar so I might discover some information on it; but to no avail. The finish of the lamp is the same as "lusterware" which came out in the 1920's and was produced until the early 1950's. I would say by the style this lamp dates around the late 1930's to the early 40's but as I said I could not find anything similar that would give me a more concrete date.
Our lamp is in Wonderful condition without any noticeable ware to the luster or pearl finish or the iris decorations. Although the cord is old; it is in very good condition as well as the wiring. The lamp has three different lightings. The bottom lights, the top lights or they both light together.
With the luster finish the pictures were very difficult to take, but the lamp is a baby blue with an opalescence finish and is decorated with beautiful gold ribbons, pink/rose irises and blue/gray irises and it stands 20".
For safe travel the top and bottom will be shipped in separate double boxes.
