This beautiful vintage amberina center bowl has alternating honeycomb and smooth panels. I have not be able to identify the maker but it is quite lovely.
The bowl is mounted on a metal base and accented with red crystal prisms and finished with a marble base. The marble base has a small hole drilled into it. I think at one time someone might have wanted to add lighting to the bowl. This could be done because the base is hollow and it would be easy to add a small light fixture. This hole is not noticeable but since it is so small it would be easy to spackle over.
The entire piece stands 9 1/2" tall and is 10" across the top of the bowl.
