This Victorian Coralene vase has the most unusual top. The opening is tiny; just large enough for a single bud but it rolls over in a fountain effect. The vase has a satin finish and the artist has painted elegant gold Fleur-de-Lis patterns and accented them with tiny green glass beads at the top of each Fleur-de-Lis and as a necklace around the neck of the vase.
Our vase is in very good antique condition with Very slight ware to the gold and one glass bead has is off the necklace.
Antique Coralene was created by firing the glass beads onto the vase and if you look through a magnifying glass at the spot where the bead is missing you can see a tiny indentation in the glass attesting to the fact that it had been fired on.
This a beautiful and unique piece and we have discounted the price by at least 50% for the missing bead.
Size: 6 1/2" high.
