Northwood Bushel Basket in Marigold ca Early 1900's
This lovely carnival glass basket was made by Northwood from 1910-1915 and was called a Bushel Basket. It has a basketweave pattern that varies from Northwood basketweave that is on the exterior of many of their bowls. The bowl basketweave looks like a checkerboard where this weave actually looks like an old fashion bushel basket.
Our basket stands 3 1/2" to the top of the basket or 4 3/4" to the top of the handles and is 5" from handle to handle. The basket is free of any nicks, chips or cracks but does have minor ware to the carnival on the inside bottom of the basket. You can not see this when you look into the basket unless you hold it up to the light or shine a light through it.
This lovely piece books for $125.00 but we have priced it at almost 30% for the carnival ware.
As always Double Boxed for safe travel.
