Fostoria's Navarre was one of the company's three top selling etched patterns of all time. Chintz and Meadow Rose were the other two. Fostoria made this pattern from 1937-1982. The pattern is very extensive and includes stemware, plates, bowls, serving pieces, and decorative pieces such as candlesticks, candy dishes, bells and vases.
Fostoria also etched this pattern on several different blanks. The most elegant blank was actually from another complete line of crystal called Baroque which they produced from 1937-1958. The baroque pattern was un-etched but was accented with an embossed fleur-de-lis, scalloped edges and elegant scroll handles.
Having said all that; this particular cream and sugar set has the Navarre pattern etched on the Baroque blank which dates this set as being produced from 1937-58.
Both pieces in this elegant set are in "Excellent Condition". The sugar bowl stands 2 7/8" tall by 3" across. The creamer stands 3 ¼" tall and is 3" across.
As always "Double Boxed" for safe travel from our home to yours.
