This Frame is Perfect for the Arts and Crafts Period Home with Oak being a major Design Element. I had to take it apart to really figure out if the picture was a Photograph or not and as you can see it definitely looks like one on photo paper that has been mounted onto a Paper Board. The Photo is Matt finish in a Sepia tone. The back of the mount has Stickers that read Andrew J. Lloyd Boston and what looks like Opticians. I did some searching and found a couple of examples of catalogs associated with them around 1909. Apparently they sold Optical as in Photography Equipment around the turn of the century but of coarse further research might be mare profitable.
This Listing is really for the Frame as the photo is mounted and has some damages.
Measurements: 19 3/4 inches by 24 3/4 inches total. The image opening is 11 3/4 inches by 16 3/4 inches with the sides being 4 inches around. Condition Very Good Vintage with a chipped edge on left bottom corner (see photo) also a gap that needs putty on that corner as well.
The Glass looks original with light waving or rippling seen at a downward angle. Signed in pencil Lloyd on one of the wooden panels that cover the back.
