This is a very old pair of screw-back Earrings from the 1920's-1930's with what is commonly called Paste Stones. The Larger Stones are so pretty and you can feel the weight from them. All the stones are glue-set with some darkened glue being visible. Normally we list Rhinestones as Rhinestones but these are just a little nicer. The back of one earring has a little play where the screw-back is attached but it feels like it is just going to swing from side to side not actually come apart (would be cautious in handling). The base is a Pot-metal and is stamped P.K. on the ends of screws.
They are so special to still be around and would make a great addition to any vintage collection.
Measures 1 inch by 3/4 inch.
