This is a choker necklace -- 13 strands of the most incredibly tiny white beads! It is 15 inches long.
I believe this belonged to my Great Aunt, but can't be positive. It definitely is nowhere near new, but I have not been able to date it, so I cannot call it antique. Making a guess, we might suggest it is from the 1930s-1940s era.
The beads are strung on string or cord, knotted to a larger, round bead at each end. A silver color vintage style clasp connects the ends. On one side, the clasp is marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA. There is no designation for the metal so we assume it is "silver tone" and not actual silver.
However anyone could possibly string beads this incredibly tiny baffles the mind, but here they are.
This necklace is old and we would recommend handling it very carefully as the string is almost certainly fragile.
