This is an authentic circa 1950s glass martini mixer from the New York Central Railroad, during the period when it referred to itself as the New York Central System.
It holds approximately 11 ounces, and is just under 5 inches tall.
This piece is authenticated as being from the New York Central in "Sparkling Crystal:A Collectors Guide to Railroad Glassware" by Larry Paul.
Condition is absolutely superb: the glass is crystal clear with no cloudiness or scuffing and absolutely no cracks or chips. The blue graphic enamel crest on the side is perfect with NO flaking or chips. It's a terrific, accurate depiction of a NYCS diesel locomotive.
We are very proud to offer this piece because they are so difficult to find in such extremely good condition.
