SEVERAL AVAILABLE - This lapel pin is an acknowledgement of service given to employees upon retirement by the New York Central Railroad between 1935 and 1968 when the NYC used the name New York Central System (NYCS). It is highly attractive in colorful blue and white enamel with bright golden decoration. Made to attach to a lapel, it has a post back, onto which a round disc screws; there are tiny teeth on the disc to secure it on the fabric.
Please note - the decoration is so shiny we took several photos to try to show it.
SIZE is approximately .75 inch long.
CONDITION is lovely, with bright colors and no staining. IMPORTANT: There may be tiny chips that are impossible to see without a magnifying glass. There is no mark on the back.
This little badge would have been worn with pride by its railway retiree owner.
