Here is an Infusor (or Infuser) made by the Hall China Company, for an Aladdin tea pot with a round lid opening. It is white, glazed inside and out, with a pretty gold band for trim around the outside edge. It dates from sometime between 1930 and the 1970s, the time during which Aladdin teapots were made.
IMPORTANT: The turquoise blue with gold teapot in our last picture shows you the type of pot this piece will fit. They would make a pretty pair ! Buy BOTH the teapot and this infusor, and we will give you 20% off the infusor price ! (And combined postage is less for the two items in one parcel!)
CONDITION is superb with NO damage, NO cracks, chips, flakes or repairs. It may have been used once or twice but there is no sign of any kind of abuse.
When you make a pot of tea, insert this piece into the pot, add loose tea leaves and fill with water. The infusor allows the tea to steep but keeps the leaves inside so they will not float into the tea. You remove it before pouring.
This style of insert looks very pretty on top of the Aladdin body, by adding an extra ring of white and gold to the piece.
