We can find NOTHING wrong with this wonderful tea pot~! It may have held tea once or twice, but we can find NO signs of use. A prior owner must have treasured it.
Made by the Hall China Company sometime between 1930 and the early 1970s, our teapot is an eye candy turquoise blue with gold trim. It has a round lid opening, which means that it can be used with or without an infusor.
CONDITION is fabulous: It is gorgeous turquoise with no color runs. The gold trim is flawless, brilliant, mirror-bright gold with no chips or flakes, and no signs of wear. Even the spout (including its gold trim) is perfect -- AND incredibly, there is no gold wear on the very tip of the finial on the top of the lid! SEE PICTURES PLEASE!
On the underside, it is marked correctly with the round HALL MADE IN USA mark identified in our Whitmyer guide to Hall China, along with the 0665R 6 cup mark in gold identifying the piece, its color and its capacity.
What else can we say? This would be a welcome shelf piece, or wonderful as a gift. All it is missing is its original box!
