This is a good switch key from the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. It is stamped A.T.& S.F.RY. on one side of its bow and ADLAKE on the other. There is a serial number across the top 32583 .
This key has a really appealing aging brass color. It shows light wear documenting use, but no wearing away of any of the stamping. NOTE that the number 5 is lightly overstamped; done at the factory.
The bit edges and barrel end are nicely rounded, and the upper end of the barrel is just slightly worn apparently from being between other keys on a ring.
PLEASE NOTE that the barrel end is worn noticeably (but not detrimentally) on the side with the Santa Fe stamp. It looks like whoever used it leaned harder on the left side of the key than the right? This one will still work just fine in your switch lock !
