SEVERAL AVAILABLE: Very nice, attractive deepest cobalt blue on white enamel with gold color trim. These are screw-back style lapel pins given to retirees by the New York Central System.
Condition is excellent, very gently used. The enamel is all there with no cracks or missing pieces, but there may be a very tiny discoloration or speck (you MUST use a magnifying glass to find any). The screw backs are in perfect condition with no crossed or stripped threads.
There are no maker markings anywhere.
A nice addition to any railway employee item collection.
"New York Central Systems" was the formal name of the New York Central Railroad between summer 1935 and the 1968 government-mandated merger with the Pennsylvania Railroad that created the Pennsylvania Central Railroad, known as "Penn Central."
