This pretty pastel green and white saucer is from the Union Pacific Railroad. It is the "Desert Flower" pattern, made by Syracuse China, that the UPRR used aboard its dining cars from the 1950s through the middle 1960s.
IMPORTANT: BOTH a Coffee / Tea cup AND a Bouillon / Soup cup are available - sold separately, see our other items please.
This saucer is in lovely nearest mint condition with virtually no signs of use. It is bright and clean. Saucers never had any flower decoration on them: this one is correctly a green fading to white shadow tone.
The bottom marking correctly identifies this as a Syracuse China product. The date code 1-KK identifies it as having been made in January 1956.
Be sure to check our other items for a matching CUP if you need to make up a set ! We will be glad to pack and mail them together to save on postage cost!
