Here is a pretty china bouillon, also called a soup cup, from the Union Pacific Railroad. It is the same size as a full size coffee cup and fits the same size saucer. (IMPORTANT - A CHOICE of saucers are available and SOLD SEPARATELY - see our other items! )
The pattern name is "Desert Flower," which the UPRR used aboard its dining cars from the 1950s until the mid-1960s. In green fading to creamy white, a fanciful floral bloom is the "Flower" (that rather resembles a Christmas Rose). There are two of these decorations on this cup. We have shown both "sides".
This cup is dated March 1954 (3-II). It has the correct Syracuse China maker marking on the bottom.
Condition is beautiful with NO cracks, chips, flakes or repairs. We can find only a very few, very light surface marks from use.
IMPORTANT: We are selling matching saucers SEPARATELY and wil be happy to combine shipping to save on postage cost.
