Here is a beautiful, matched pair of pewter porringers that I was given as a gift in the 1980s. They are lovely, but pewter just was not my style, so I never used them. They have been put away on a back shelf of a china cabinet in my home until now.
These spun pewter porringers were made by the Woodbury Pewterers of Woodbury, Connecticut. Founded in 1952, the company has earned an incredible and deserved reputation for its devotion to quality and craftsmanship. Woodbury pieces are made by hand using many of the same tools and methods antique pewterers utilized.
SIZE is approximately 4 inches across and about a half inch deep.
CONDITION: Lovely with NO dents, bumps, stains or broken pieces. I never washed (or even dusted) these. They might benefit from a polishing, but I never did that.
These are so nice they deserve a home where their quality and craftsmanship will be appreciated by someone who enjoys pewter!
