Its hard to believe that thee earrings have survived in such good condition! They are light as a feather and simply stunning on! The earring are 3 1/8 inches long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom drop, and are made of very thin silver wire and punched silver sheet that has been painstakingly applied to the earring frame. This is typical Dutch work and these earrings are incredibly hard to find now, most likely very few have survived. There is a cartouche on the bottom drop bale ring with a date mark for 1840. The ear wire is a newer replacement. These are a real treat!
