I have to say that these earrings are in by no means pristine condition, but the rarity of such earrings made me overlook the flaws. These earrings are silver and are just over 1 inch across. They have bezel set opaline pastes and rose cut garnets. The original pierced backs have been replaced with silver shepard hooks which have been soft soldered on the back. One earrings had has a tear drop opaline paste replaced with an oval ( this is an old repair), and the other earrings had two of the tear drop opaline pastes replaced with moonstones, one oval and one teardrop.
