This Victorian era watch is just gorgeous! It is 2 1/4 inches long ( watch and pin), and is hallmarked with a cartouch with a u in it as well as a 925 hallmark for sterling. The pin is not marked but is sterling ( acid tested and guaranteed). The pin and watch are filled with pastes. The pin has 3 saltwater pearls wither natural or cultured I am not sure. The face of the watch is surrounded by seed pearls that are 2mm across and the back has small pastes surrounded by the same pearls. This is a very quality piece. I have left it unpolished. The working have been serviced and cleaned by a master watchmaker and are an old Swiss Cylinder movement. The paste are all original and are bright and shiny. The watch crystal has yellowed, but I find this pleasing. Condition is very good. Continental in Origin. C. 1880.
